Welcome
to the exciting World of Special Olympics ...

The exciting world of Special Olympics, an unstoppable movement nurturing life changing and enhancing experiences.
Special Olympics Queensland aims to help people with an intellectual disability:

  • gain acceptance and appreciation by society as a whole
  • unleash their athletic and physical potential

We organise year round sports training and competition. Click here to view our calendar of events.

Special Olympics Australia are delighted and honoured to have the Governor General of Australia, Ms Quentin Bryce AC as our patron and extend our special thanks for her keen interest and support. We also thank our sponsors for their continued support.
