Redcliffe Region boundaries stretch from the North Pine River through to and including Caboolture Shire.
The Region has approximately 52 athletes across the sports of: athletics, aquatics (swimming), basketball, bocce, golf, soccer, tennis and tenpin bowling. All sports training is conducted by accredited coaches who continue to maintain their currency in these skills.
Redcliffe is always seeking people with the appropriate skills and abilities to fill positions of coaches, assistant coaches, coordinators and volunteers.
Our aim is to increase our athlete membership and to include other sports in our sporting program. If you are an athlete with an intellectual disability or you know someone who fulfils this criteria then contact our Regional Secretary, Margo Porter, for further information.
Redcliffe has a Regional Sub-Committee made up of positions including Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Registrar, Regional Newsletter Editor, Sports Coordinator, Uniform Officer, Regional Delegate to SMC and one other Committee Person.
The Redcliffe Regional Delegate has a responsibility to help promote the expectations and understandings from State level within our regional operations. The Regional and Development Support Officer disseminates monthly regional Reports to ensure information from State meetings is communicated to our region. A copy of State Minutes is available to all Redcliffe financial members by contacting the Regional Secretary or the Regional Development and Support Officer.
All financial members of Redcliffe Region are welcome to come along to monthly meetings of the Regional Executive Committee which are held at Deception Bay PCYC,
Maine Terrace, Deception Bay Q 4508, on the first Wednesday of every month from 5:30pm.
